The Nondestructive Characterization and Metrology group at Southern Research Institute specializes in materials characterization and precision testing of materials and structures. The researchers in this group bring together a range of knowledge and experience in areas such as physics, materials engineering, software development and mathematics. This unique blend of talent results in abilities that range from application and development of NDE techniques to advanced composite materials to evaluation of thermal stability of pointing mechanisms in space-based telescopes. The group specializes in novel approaches and solutions to a variety of customer challenges.
